About Me
I'm a backend-focused developer with over two years of freelance and contract experience, most of it spent on two very different products: Spacr, a cross-border delivery marketplace startup, and Antioxida, a health-tech company. Both roles put me deep in real-time systems, database design, and the unglamorous but critical work of migrating a codebase without breaking it.
At Antioxida I migrated more than 30 database models from MongoDB to PostgreSQL with zero data loss, grew a Prisma schema past 1,000 lines, and moved the backend from JavaScript to TypeScript, while writing hundreds of lines of raw SQL and PL/pgSQL to power a research-based recommendation engine. At Spacr I built the real-time chat backend from scratch, owned peer-to-peer package delivery end-to-end, and built a wallet system with escrow logic tied to Stripe and regional delivery providers like Bykea and Careem.
Outside of contract work, I recently led the full software and ML pipeline for an EEG-controlled prosthetic arm, my graduation project, benchmarking five deep learning architectures against classical baselines and shipping a real-time inference application with signal buffering and confidence-gated commands.
I hold a B.Sc. in Communications and Electronics Engineering, alongside two Udacity nanodegrees in full-stack and frontend web development.
